Are you stressed? Anxious? Frustrated? Depressed? Lonely? Then Meditation is the answer.
If you have never meditated before or even if you have, this is the workshop for you. In each one-hour session, we will learn the theory and philosophy behind a meditation practice and then implement that practice together.
Session 1 -- Breathing to Calm the Mind for Meditation
Session 2-- Learning to Scan the body and Watch the Breath
Session 3-- Watching the breath and watching the mind
Session 4-- Moving Awareness through the Cakras
You are encouraged to practice each technique for the week in between classes. We will discuss how the meditations are working for you in each class.
Classes will meet at 5pm (CDT) on Tuesdays starting May 25. There are four classes in this series.
We need at least 5 people to enroll in order for the class to take place.
